My Reporting Reel

As a reporter I  had the opportunity to cover a variety of stories. From covering Exotic petting zoos in Indiana to talking to World War II veterans with PTSD I have had opportunities to  a wide array of topics.

During my time at Indiana University I had the privilege to host the IU NEWSNET Daily. This was a short daily newscast that I would edit, write and host myself each morning. This opportunity allowed me to better my editing, writing and anchoring skills. In addition it allowed me to post social media friendly newscasts that people could watch each day to catch up on local and national news.

In my role as the Director of Public Relations for the Singing Hoosiers I had a number of responsibilities. One of these responsibilites was to promote various concerts through social media marketing as well as writing press releases. For many concerts I produced promotional videos to post on social media to increase ticket sales. One such video is connected here.
